1 Harsh Odor

As you can see, these are materials with fumes you wouldn’t smell on a normal day. It’s a smell termed the “hot smell.”
There are cases where the coolant is leaking and letting out a sweet smell with toxic fumes. The sweet and hot smells are different, but they’re distinctive, so they’re easy to pick up.

Turn off the A/C

Park the car and let it cool off
